A Virginia Nonprofit Corporation
The Greene Care Clinic is a nonprofit corporation registered in Virginia. It is an IRS 501(c)(3) organization, and contributions made to the Clinic are tax deductible. The Clinic also is registered with the Virginia Office of Consumer Affairs.

Affiliations
The Greene Care Clinic is a member of the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics and the Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (VAFCC).
Founded in 1993, the VAFCC is the nation's oldest Free Clinic association. It is a private, non-profit membership organization that provides training and technical assistance, research, resource development and advocacy to Free Clinics throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. The VAFCC represents and supports Virginia's network of 60 Free Clinics, which are one of Virginia's largest providers of health care to the uninsured. The mission of the VAFCC is to support, strengthen, and advocate for member clinics as they deliver quality health care to Virginia’s uninsured and underinsured residents.
