Our Services

We provide quality healthcare for our patients to ensure a positive health outcome and patient satisfaction.

Services include:

  • Treatment of acute health conditions

  • Comprehensive chronic illness care

  • Clinical and diagnostic testing 

  • Pharmacy services (non-narcotic prescriptions) 

  • Health education and lifestyle change support, including smoking cessation counseling

  • Care coordination and referrals as appropriate to University of Virginia and Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospitals

  • Free mental health counseling with the Virginia Telemental Health Initiative

The Clinic has recruited highly experienced and skilled local physicians and nurse practitioners, who are licensed in Virginia, to provide healthcare to our patients.

Get Involved

The Clinic depends on volunteers, donations and grants to conduct its operations. We are not a government program or health department. Without your support we would not be able to provide this essential service to low income people in our community.

MAKE A DONATION

We welcome financial contributions in any amount. Our mission is to provide healthcare to uninsured adult residents of Greene County. Contributions to the Greene Care Clinic are tax deductible.

Volunteer opportunities

The Clinic needs a wide range of volunteer workers, including physicians, nursing staff, health counselors, administrative and accounting support, and fund raising support.

ELIGIBILITY

The Clinic serves Greene County residents between the ages of 19 and 64 who do not have health insurance and who have an annual family income of less than 300 percent of the Federal Poverty Level.
