Volunteer

The Clinic depends on volunteer medical and support staff to conduct our mission, including physicians, nursing staff, health counselors, administrative and accounting support, and fund raising support.

Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants Needed:

Volunteers must be currently licensed in Virginia. A three hour minimum commitment monthly is the usual volunteer time. Liability insurance is held by the Commonwealth of Virginia when you are registered with the Office of Risk Management.

Nurses Needed

Volunteers must be currently licensed in Virginia. A minimum three hour commitment monthly is the usual volunteer time.

Administrative Support Staff Needed

Office experience would be helpful, but is not required. A minimum three hour commitment monthly is desired.

Medical Supply Closet

The Greene Care Clinic manages a Medical Supply Closet that is located in a separate building on Ford Avenue in Stanardsville. Residents of Greene County donate items to the closet and we make the items available to the community free-of-charge. Responsibilities would include keeping an inventory of the supplies, keeping the closet organized, and scheduling supply drop-off and pick-up times for the community.

Fund-Raising and Outreach Volunteers Needed

Help organize and implement fundraisers for the clinic. Help raise awareness of the clinic and the services we provide to uninsured residents of Greene County.
